Brisbane Standing Stones Monument Unveiled

Celtic Council of Australia (Queensland) invites all interested members of the piping and drumming community to attend an event to celebrate the installation of the Standing Stones Celtic Nations Monument in Brisbane this October.

CCAQ is very proud of this monument and are honored to present it to the City of Brisbane. They wish to thank all those who have supported and helped to realise this dream.

Join them at 12pm (midday), 8 October 2023 at Moorlands Park Auchenflower (just off Coronation Drive, Brisbane) for this historic unveiling.

Inauguration Programme

• Grand Parade of Flags of the CelticNations,

• Pipes and Drums of the Celtic Nations, Celtic Nations Representatives

• Appointment of Sentinels of the Standing Stones

• Official Unveiling of Memorial Plaque

• Cultural Entertainment from Celtic Nations Pipe Band,

• Celtic Nations Groups and Troubador Tom Kimmet.

  Please bring hats, umbrellas, Chairs; Water and a Picnic Lunch; Food and coffee van on site
